Do you deliver and install outside London?
Yes, we serve London ON as our home base and regularly travel within a 50km radius for events in communities like St. Thomas, Strathroy, Ingersoll, and Woodstock. For larger installs, we can go further. If your venue is outside that range, message us with the location and date and we will let you know what the travel fee looks like. We keep travel costs reasonable for weekend-market events (weddings, showers, birthdays) and for corporate accounts booking multiple events. The easiest way to check is to send us your event date and postal code and we will confirm availability and any added cost within a few hours. Balloon arch delivery and setup is included in our quoted price for local events, so there are no surprise fees at the door.
-
How far in advance should I book?
For weekend events like weddings, baby showers, and milestone birthdays in London Ontario, we recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks out. Wedding season (May through September) and graduation season (May through June) fill fastest, and our custom build slots go early in those months. That said, we do take shorter-notice bookings if the calendar has space. Two weeks out is usually fine for smaller setups like birthday arches or table centerpieces. One week out is possible for a rush fee. If your event is tomorrow and you are reading this, message us anyway. We have pulled off same-day setups before for the right install size. The earlier you book, the more time Brenda has to design something that fits your specific colors, theme, and space rather than working from a standard template.
-
Do you do same-day or rush bookings?
We do take rush bookings when the schedule allows. Events booked less than 14 days out carry a 25% rush fee, and events booked less than 7 days out carry a 50% rush fee. This covers the cost of sourcing materials on short notice and rearranging the production calendar. Same-day is case by case depending on what is already in production and what size of balloon installation you need. A small birthday arch or a cluster of balloons for a surprise party is more likely to work same-day than a full wedding garland or ceiling install. If you are in a time crunch, message us immediately with your event details, balloon arch style, and preferred colors, and we will tell you within the hour whether we can make it happen. We do not keep you waiting on a same-day inquiry.

What is the price range for a balloon arch?
Balloon arch pricing in London Ontario depends on size, style, and complexity. A small organic garland arch for a birthday photo spot or classroom starts around $160. A standard doorway or ceremony arch for a wedding or bridal shower typically runs $499 to $749. Large statement arches for venues, grand openings, or full wedding ceremony backdrops can reach $1,200 to $2,400 depending on the design. Geometric and structural arches that require framing sit at the higher end. The best way to get a number is to send us your event type, the space dimensions, your color palette, and any inspiration photos, and Brenda will put together a quote within 24 hours. There is no cost to quote and no pressure to book. Custom designs are our normal, not an upgrade.
-
Can you match specific colors or themes?
Yes, custom colors and themes are the foundation of how we work, not a special request. Brenda builds every installation to order, which means we can match a specific Pantone swatch, a venue's color scheme, a party's theme, or a brand's palette. For weddings and bridal showers, we regularly work from mood boards and Instagram saves. For corporate events in London, we can match branded colors for grand openings, product launches, and holiday parties. We do not use a catalog of pre-made arches. Every build is started fresh based on your event specs. If you have a photo of what you are picturing, or a color you want to match, send it over when you message us for a quote. The more specific the reference, the closer we get to exactly what you had in mind.
-
Do you do corporate and branded events?
Yes, corporate events and brand activations are a regular part of our work. We have done grand opening installations, holiday party setups, product launch backdrops, and office event decor for London Ontario businesses. For branded events, we can work from your company's color scheme and incorporate logos into balloon column designs or arch framing. Corporate clients typically book 2 to 4 weeks in advance for planned events, and we can often accommodate shorter timelines for smaller setups. We deliver, install, and clean up, so your team does not need to touch anything on the day. If you are an office manager, marketing coordinator, or executive assistant looking for a reliable vendor who shows up on time and sets up correctly, that is exactly what we do. Message us with your event date and we will send a package overview.
-
Do you do graduation parties?
Graduation season is one of our busiest stretches, typically running from May through June in London Ontario. We do balloon arches for backyard grad parties, number columns (Class of 2026 style), large balloon displays for school events and ceremonies, and full outdoor setups for family celebrations. Graduation balloon setups in London usually book up fast in April and early May, so the earlier you reach out, the more options you have for dates and custom designs. We can do school colors, graduation cap themes, photo backdrop walls, and name or number displays for milestone years. If you are planning a grad party for a family member, send us your date, the grad's school colors, and a rough idea of the space, and we will put together a quote. Most grad setups start around $160 for a simple arch and scale up from there for larger installs.
-
Do you provide setup and installation at the venue?
Yes, delivery and on-site setup are included in every quote. Brenda arrives before the event and installs everything directly in the venue so you do not have to manage logistics on your event day. For weddings and larger installations in London, we schedule arrival 2 to 3 hours before the event start. For smaller setups like birthday balloon arches or shower centerpieces, setup is typically 30 to 60 minutes. We coordinate with venues on access timing and work around any restrictions they have. If your venue has specific load-in rules, just let us know when you book and we will plan accordingly. Cleanup and removal after the event can be arranged at booking. You do not need to worry about breakdown or disposal. Everything from setup to cleanup is handled, so you can focus on your guests rather than the decor.
-
Do you offer rentals or is everything custom-built?
Everything we make is custom-built for your event. Balloon installations are not rental items, they are assembled fresh for each booking using new materials matched to your colors, theme, and space. There is no standard inventory you are pulling from. Brenda designs and builds every arch, wall, column, and centerpiece specifically for the event it is going to. This means your balloon decor in London will not look like what showed up at someone else's event last weekend. It is built for your date, your venue, and your color palette. Because each build is custom, pricing is based on size, complexity, and material cost rather than a flat rental fee. For ongoing corporate accounts that want recurring setups, we can build a standing arrangement to keep costs predictable. Message us with your event details and we will quote it accurately the first time.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event date receive a 50% refund. Inside 7 days the booking is non-refundable, because by that point materials are sourced, production has started, and the delivery slot is reserved. To reschedule a balloon install, we ask for at least 72 hours notice before the scheduled date and we will check availability to arrange a new date. Weather-related rescheduling is also handled with 72 hours notice. Deposits secure your slot once paid. We ask for a 50% deposit at booking to confirm; events booked less than 7 days out require full payment upfront. Changes and cancellations should be sent in writing via email or DM so there is a clear record. If your event changes scope rather than cancels, message us before the 7-day window and we will adjust the quote where possible.
-
What makes Balloonia different from other balloon vendors in London?
Every install is built from scratch for your event. No catalog arches, no recycled props from a previous booking. Brenda starts with your colours, your venue dimensions, and what you actually want the space to feel like, then builds to that. She also delivers and installs on site and coordinates load-in directly with the venue, so your event day has one fewer thing to manage. Because each build is made to order, the quote reflects your actual palette and space rather than a fixed package. If you want to see the standard of work before committing, the portfolio shows real installs we have delivered around London and the surrounding area, and there is no cost to ask for a quote.

How much does a balloon garland cost?
Balloon garland pricing in London Ontario comes down to length, colour count, and what we are attaching it to. A small accent garland for a table run, a backdrop corner, or a dessert display starts around $160. A standard garland for a shower, birthday, or office event, usually eight to twelve feet, runs $200 to $500. Large organic garlands that wrap a staircase, span a head table, or climb a full feature wall land between $700 and $1,200. Adding a second or third colour raises the price because every colour is a separate inflation batch and a separate sort before Brenda ever starts building. Attaching to brick, glass, or anything a venue will not let us drill into also changes the method and the cost. Every garland is built fresh for the booking rather than pulled from stock, so the quote reflects your actual palette and space. Send us the wall or the table you want covered, your colours, and your date, and we will come back with a real number within 24 hours.

How much does a balloon arch cost per foot?
A per-foot rate is the most common way people try to price balloon work, and it is the number most likely to be wrong by the time the install happens. Two ten-foot arches can differ by several hundred dollars depending on balloon density, how many colours are in the blend, and whether the shape needs a frame underneath it. A loose organic arch across a doorway uses a fraction of the balloons that a packed full-coverage arch of the same width does. What we can tell you honestly is where finished arches land in London Ontario. Small organic arches for a photo spot or classroom start around $299. Standard doorway and ceremony arches run $499 to $999. Large statement arches for venues, grand openings, and full ceremony backdrops reach $1,200 and up when they need structural framing. If you have a measurement and a reference photo, that is enough for Brenda to quote the real number within 24 hours, which beats a per-foot estimate that changes once she sees the space.

How long do helium balloons last?
Latex helium balloons float for roughly eight to twelve hours untreated, which covers a single event day but not much past it. Treated with a sealant on the inside, the same balloon holds for two to three days. Foil and mylar balloons, including number and letter balloons, hold helium far longer and typically float for three to five days, often up to two weeks indoors. Temperature is the variable people underestimate. A balloon that moves from a warm car into an air conditioned hall will visibly shrink, then recover once it warms back up. Cold shortens float time noticeably. This is also why most of our large installations in London are air-filled rather than helium. Air-filled arches, garlands, and walls hold their shape for days or weeks instead of hours, which is why they suit weddings, corporate events, and anything set up the night before. If your event runs across multiple days, tell us at booking and we will build it in the medium that lasts.
-
How long does a balloon garland last outdoors?
An air-filled garland installed outdoors in London holds well for a single event day and often several days in mild weather. Direct summer sun is the thing that shortens it. Sunlight causes latex to oxidize, which shows up as a chalky matte finish within a few hours, and heat expands the air inside enough that balloons in full sun can pop. We build for this when we know about it. Underinflating slightly gives the balloons room to expand, and positioning the install in shade or on a north-facing wall makes a visible difference. For outdoor weddings and grand openings we schedule setup as close to the start time as the venue allows rather than the night before. Foil and chrome finishes hold up better in sun than standard latex. Wind matters more than most people expect, so anything freestanding outdoors gets weighted or anchored. Tell us the install is outdoors when you book and we will pick materials and a setup window that survive the conditions rather than fighting them.
-
Do you work directly with venues and event planners?
Yes, and it is a large part of how we work. Brenda coordinates load-in directly with venue staff so the client is not relaying messages between two vendors on the week of the event. That means confirming access times, elevator and dock availability, what the venue allows us to attach to, and when the room is actually free before the event starts. Most venues in and around London have rules about adhesives, drilling, ceiling rigging, and how late a teardown can run, and getting those confirmed early is what keeps setup from becoming a problem on the day. For event planners and venue coordinators booking on behalf of a client, we can send a package overview, hold a date while a proposal is approved, and invoice the planner or the client directly. For recurring bookings such as monthly corporate events or a venue that wants a standing seasonal install, we can set up a standing arrangement so pricing and scheduling stay predictable. Send your venue and date and we will handle the coordination from there.
-
What size should a balloon backdrop be for photos?
For a backdrop that people stand in front of one or two at a time, eight feet wide by eight feet tall is the size that works. That gives a photographer room to frame a couple from the knees up without the edge of the wall creeping into the shot. For group photos, and this is where most people undersize, you want ten to twelve feet wide. A row of six guests takes more space than it looks like it will, and a backdrop that ends behind someone's shoulder is the thing you notice in every photo afterward. Height matters more than width for anyone standing. Anything under seven feet tall starts showing the ceiling or the wall behind it once a camera is at eye level. If your venue in London has a low ceiling, we build wider and lower and angle it instead. Send us the dimensions of the wall you have in mind, or a photo of the corner you are thinking about, and we will tell you what actually fits before you commit to a size.
-
What does a ceiling balloon installation need from the venue?
Three things, and all three are worth confirming before you book rather than on the day. First, an attachment point. Most ceiling work in London venues hangs from existing rigging points, beams, light bars, or drop ceiling grid. Some venues allow fishing line and clips, some allow nothing at all on the ceiling, and a few have rigging that only their own staff may touch. Second, height and access. Anything above about twelve feet needs a ladder or lift, and the venue has to let us bring one in and have floor space clear to set it up. Third, a setup window with the room empty. Ceiling work is the one install type that cannot happen around guests or around another vendor setting tables underneath. We usually ask for the room two to three hours ahead. Brenda confirms all of this directly with the venue coordinator, so you are not relaying answers between two vendors the week of your event. If you tell us the venue name when you enquire, we will often already know their rules.
-
How many balloon centerpieces do I need?
One per guest table is the standard, and for most events in London that lands between six and twelve. Before you order that many, it is worth knowing that not every table needs the same thing. A common approach is a full centerpiece on the head table, the gift table, and the cake or dessert table, then something smaller and lower on the guest tables so people can see each other across them. Height is the detail that gets missed. Anything above about fourteen inches on a dining table blocks sightlines and guests end up moving it themselves, which is why we build guest table pieces low and wide and save the tall ones for tables nobody sits at. For corporate events and galas where tables are larger and rounds seat ten, we usually recommend fewer, larger pieces rather than one per table. Send us your table count and layout and we will tell you where the pieces actually earn their spot rather than quoting one for every surface.
-
How tall are balloon columns and number balloons?
Standard freestanding balloon columns run six to seven feet tall, which puts the top just above head height so they read from across a room. Number and letter balloons come in a few sizes. The common large foil numbers are about three feet tall and work mounted on a column base or floating in a cluster. Oversized mosaic numbers, the kind you fill with balloons and stand on the floor, are four feet tall and hold their own as a photo backdrop on their own. For a milestone birthday or a Class of 2026 grad setup in London, a pair of numbers on column bases flanking an entrance or a cake table is the setup we build most. Columns are freestanding and weighted, so they do not need to attach to anything, which makes them the easiest option for venues with rules about walls and ceilings. Outdoors they need extra weight or an anchor because wind moves them. Tell us the ceiling height and where you want them standing and we will size accordingly.
-
Do you deliver balloon bouquets in London Ontario?
Yes, we deliver bouquets across London and the surrounding area, including St. Thomas, Strathroy, Ingersoll, and Woodstock. Bouquets are the one thing we make that can go out same day when the calendar allows, so if you are ordering for a birthday, a hospital visit, a new baby, or an office desk, message us and we will tell you honestly whether today is possible. A few practical notes. Helium bouquets float for roughly eight to twelve hours in latex and several days in foil, so timing the delivery close to when it needs to look its best matters more than ordering early. Balloons do not travel well in a hot car, so we deliver them ourselves rather than handing them to a courier. For deliveries to a workplace or a hospital, check that the recipient is allowed balloons at all, since some units in London hospitals do not permit latex. Order bouquets directly from the shop, or message us if you want a custom colour combination that is not listed.
Still deciding?
Send your date, venue, and colours. Brenda quotes within 24 hours, and there is no cost to ask.
