Install type
Ceiling balloon installations in London, Ontario
Suspended clusters, canopies, and overhead displays. The install that changes how a whole room feels rather than one wall of it.

Every other install type decorates a wall or a corner. A ceiling install changes the room itself. Guests walk in and the space reads differently before they have looked at anything in particular, which is why venues and corporate clients ask for it when a room is large and otherwise plain. It is also the most technical thing we build, so it rewards booking early.
What a ceiling balloon installation costs
Small overhead clusters and floating accents over a head table or bar start around $699. Larger canopies and multi-cluster installs across a ballroom run $1,200 to $1,999. Full-room canopies and suspended feature pieces reach $2,400 and beyond. This is the highest-ticket category we build, and the reason is labour and access rather than materials. Overhead work is measured, rigged, and hung piece by piece from a ladder or a lift, and that time is most of the cost.
What your venue needs to allow
Three things decide whether a ceiling install is possible, and all three are worth confirming before you book rather than on the day. There has to be an attachment point, which usually means existing rigging, beams, light bars, or drop ceiling grid. Some venues in London allow fishing line and clips, some allow nothing overhead at all, and a few have rigging that only their own staff may touch. There has to be access, since anything above roughly twelve feet needs a ladder or lift brought in and floor space clear to set it up. And there has to be a setup window with the room empty, because this is the one install that cannot happen around guests or around another vendor dressing tables underneath.
Brenda confirms all of that with the venue coordinator directly, so you are not carrying messages between two vendors the week of your event. Tell us the venue name when you enquire and there is a good chance we already know their rules.
Where overhead work earns its cost
Indoor weddings with height, corporate galas and award banquets, product launches, and large milestone parties are where this lands best. In a room with a plain ceiling and good height, an overhead install does more than the same budget spent on floor pieces, because it is visible from every seat rather than only from the side of the room it sits on. In a low-ceiling room it is usually the wrong call, and we will say so rather than sell it to you. If your ceiling is low or the venue does not permit overhead work, a balloon wall or a tall arch gets you scale a different way.
Because of the rigging and access requirements, book overhead work earlier than other install types. Four to six weeks leaves room to confirm venue rules and lock a setup window. Timelines are covered in the FAQ, and corporate packages covers recurring venue work and standing arrangements.

How far in advance should I book?
For weekend events like weddings, baby showers, and milestone birthdays in London Ontario, we recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks out. Wedding season (May through September) and graduation season (May through June) fill fastest, and our custom build slots go early in those months. That said, we do take shorter-notice bookings if the calendar has space. Two weeks out is usually fine for smaller setups like birthday arches or table centerpieces. One week out is possible for a rush fee. If your event is tomorrow and you are reading this, message us anyway. We have pulled off same-day setups before for the right install size. The earlier you book, the more time Brenda has to design something that fits your specific colors, theme, and space rather than working from a standard template.
-
Do you provide setup and installation at the venue?
Yes, delivery and on-site setup are included in every quote. Brenda arrives before the event and installs everything directly in the venue so you do not have to manage logistics on your event day. For weddings and larger installations in London, we schedule arrival 2 to 3 hours before the event start. For smaller setups like birthday balloon arches or shower centerpieces, setup is typically 30 to 60 minutes. We coordinate with venues on access timing and work around any restrictions they have. If your venue has specific load-in rules, just let us know when you book and we will plan accordingly. Cleanup and removal after the event can be arranged at booking. You do not need to worry about breakdown or disposal. Everything from setup to cleanup is handled, so you can focus on your guests rather than the decor.

What does a ceiling balloon installation need from the venue?
Three things, and all three are worth confirming before you book rather than on the day. First, an attachment point. Most ceiling work in London venues hangs from existing rigging points, beams, light bars, or drop ceiling grid. Some venues allow fishing line and clips, some allow nothing at all on the ceiling, and a few have rigging that only their own staff may touch. Second, height and access. Anything above about twelve feet needs a ladder or lift, and the venue has to let us bring one in and have floor space clear to set it up. Third, a setup window with the room empty. Ceiling work is the one install type that cannot happen around guests or around another vendor setting tables underneath. We usually ask for the room two to three hours ahead. Brenda confirms all of this directly with the venue coordinator, so you are not relaying answers between two vendors the week of your event. If you tell us the venue name when you enquire, we will often already know their rules.
