Photo booth balloon setups in London, Ontario
Built around the booth rather than beside it. Sized to the camera's frame and in colours that hold up under booth lighting.

A photo booth backdrop has a harder job than a regular backdrop, because it has to work through a specific lens at a fixed distance under a flash. Colours that look right in the room can go flat or blow out on camera, and a backdrop built to look good standing in front of it often crops badly once the booth frames the shot.
What photo booth setups cost
A backdrop sized to a standard booth frame starts at $249. Setups with a themed build, props, or a name and neon accent run $349 to $699. Larger open-air booth walls that need to cover a wider frame land past $699. If you are already booking a balloon install elsewhere at the same event, a booth backdrop built at the same time costs less than booking it on its own, since it shares the same delivery and setup trip.
Building for the camera, not the room
Enclosed booths usually frame tight, so the backdrop needs to fill roughly eight feet wide by eight tall and no more, since anything past that is out of frame and wasted. Open-air booths shoot wider and take groups, which means ten to twelve feet to keep people off the edges.
Colour behaves differently under a booth flash than under room light. Deep saturated tones hold up. Very pale pastels can wash out, and chrome and metallic finishes throw hot spots straight back at the lens. We build with that in mind, and if you tell us the booth vendor or send a photo of the booth, we can size and colour for that specific setup. Placement matters too, since a backdrop needs clear floor in front of it for the booth to sit at the right distance.
Working alongside your booth vendor
Booth companies typically arrive an hour or two before guests and need the corner clear when they do. We schedule our setup to finish before they start, so nobody is working around anybody. If you give us the booth company's name when you book, Brenda coordinates the timing with them directly rather than leaving you to relay it.
Sizing detail is in the FAQ. If you want a backdrop for general photos rather than a booth specifically, that is a balloon wall. For a fully themed concept built around a character or palette, see custom themed installs.

Photo booth backdrop questions

Do you provide setup and installation at the venue?
Yes, delivery and on-site setup are included in every quote. Brenda arrives before the event and installs everything directly in the venue so you do not have to manage logistics on your event day. For weddings and larger installations in London, we schedule arrival 2 to 3 hours before the event start. For smaller setups like birthday balloon arches or shower centerpieces, setup is typically 30 to 60 minutes. We coordinate with venues on access timing and work around any restrictions they have. If your venue has specific load-in rules, just let us know when you book and we will plan accordingly. Cleanup and removal after the event can be arranged at booking. You do not need to worry about breakdown or disposal. Everything from setup to cleanup is handled, so you can focus on your guests rather than the decor.

What size should a balloon backdrop be for photos?
For a backdrop that people stand in front of one or two at a time, eight feet wide by eight feet tall is the size that works. That gives a photographer room to frame a couple from the knees up without the edge of the wall creeping into the shot. For group photos, and this is where most people undersize, you want ten to twelve feet wide. A row of six guests takes more space than it looks like it will, and a backdrop that ends behind someone's shoulder is the thing you notice in every photo afterward. Height matters more than width for anyone standing. Anything under seven feet tall starts showing the ceiling or the wall behind it once a camera is at eye level. If your venue in London has a low ceiling, we build wider and lower and angle it instead. Send us the dimensions of the wall you have in mind, or a photo of the corner you are thinking about, and we will tell you what actually fits before you commit to a size.
