Balloon backdrops and walls in London, Ontario
Photo-ready focal points sized to your venue and your photographer's frame. Any palette, built to order, installed by us.

A balloon backdrop does the job a banner cannot. It gives the photo depth, colour, and texture, and it keeps working all night because every guest ends up standing in front of it at some point. It is the piece that shows up in the most photos afterward, which is why it is worth sizing properly rather than ordering by price alone.
What a balloon backdrop costs in London
Accent walls and half-height backdrops start around $200. A standard photo backdrop, the eight by eight foot size most events want, runs $349 to $699. Full feature walls that span a room, include a neon sign or name cutout, or carry floral and greenery inserts land between $699 and $1,750.
Three things move that number. Coverage is the biggest one, because a densely packed wall uses several times the balloons of an organic wall of the same dimensions. Colour count is next, since every added colour is a separate inflation batch before Brenda starts building. Then the surface, because a freestanding frame is a different build from something anchored to a wall, and some venues will not let anything touch their walls at all.
Getting the size right
Most people undersize a backdrop. Eight feet wide by eight tall covers one or two people comfortably. Group shots need ten to twelve feet wide, because a row of six guests takes up more room than it looks like it will, and a backdrop that stops behind someone's shoulder is the thing you notice in every photo later. Height matters more than width once people are standing, and anything under seven feet tall starts showing the ceiling behind it at eye level. Send a photo of the wall or corner you have in mind and we will tell you what actually fits.
Branded walls for corporate events
For grand openings, brand activations, and conference booths around London and southwestern Ontario, we build to a brand palette rather than a stock colour set. That means matching your specific colours instead of picking the closest standard shade, and working a logo, name, or hashtag into the wall as a cutout or sign. Step-and-repeat style walls for media photos work the same way. If you are coordinating this alongside other vendors, Brenda deals with the venue on load-in timing directly. See the corporate packages page for how the rest of that fits together.
Related install types
A backdrop framing a doorway or an entrance is usually a balloon arch instead. Something running along a wall, rail, or head table is a balloon garland. Many setups combine a wall with a garland trailing off one corner, which reads bigger than either on its own. Pricing and timelines for all of it are in the FAQ.

Balloon backdrop questions

Can you match specific colors or themes?
Yes, custom colors and themes are the foundation of how we work, not a special request. Brenda builds every installation to order, which means we can match a specific Pantone swatch, a venue's color scheme, a party's theme, or a brand's palette. For weddings and bridal showers, we regularly work from mood boards and Instagram saves. For corporate events in London, we can match branded colors for grand openings, product launches, and holiday parties. We do not use a catalog of pre-made arches. Every build is started fresh based on your event specs. If you have a photo of what you are picturing, or a color you want to match, send it over when you message us for a quote. The more specific the reference, the closer we get to exactly what you had in mind.
-
Do you provide setup and installation at the venue?
Yes, delivery and on-site setup are included in every quote. Brenda arrives before the event and installs everything directly in the venue so you do not have to manage logistics on your event day. For weddings and larger installations in London, we schedule arrival 2 to 3 hours before the event start. For smaller setups like birthday balloon arches or shower centerpieces, setup is typically 30 to 60 minutes. We coordinate with venues on access timing and work around any restrictions they have. If your venue has specific load-in rules, just let us know when you book and we will plan accordingly. Cleanup and removal after the event can be arranged at booking. You do not need to worry about breakdown or disposal. Everything from setup to cleanup is handled, so you can focus on your guests rather than the decor.

What size should a balloon backdrop be for photos?
For a backdrop that people stand in front of one or two at a time, eight feet wide by eight feet tall is the size that works. That gives a photographer room to frame a couple from the knees up without the edge of the wall creeping into the shot. For group photos, and this is where most people undersize, you want ten to twelve feet wide. A row of six guests takes more space than it looks like it will, and a backdrop that ends behind someone's shoulder is the thing you notice in every photo afterward. Height matters more than width for anyone standing. Anything under seven feet tall starts showing the ceiling or the wall behind it once a camera is at eye level. If your venue in London has a low ceiling, we build wider and lower and angle it instead. Send us the dimensions of the wall you have in mind, or a photo of the corner you are thinking about, and we will tell you what actually fits before you commit to a size.
